At the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) 2025, our CEO Jan Hameeuw had the honor of receiving the Trickstar Business Award for SYNK. The award recognizes innovative and forward-looking business models in the animation industry, and for us, it’s a real confirmation of the work we’ve been doing.

During the festival, the jury highlighted how SYNK was born from practical necessity and successfully deployed in high-profile productions. They explained that it “offers a forward-looking solution to the creative industry’s growing challenges amid the shift to real-time 3D production” (ITFS, 2025). It was exciting to hear them point out that SYNK enables artists to continue working in their preferred programs, transforming linear workflows into efficient, parallel processes, and allowing for faster iteration cycles (ITFS, 2025).

For us, this award is about more than recognition — it’s about showing how SYNK can help teams of any size compete globally while retaining creative independence. Seeing the jury commend the platform’s impact on studios and independent creators alike was incredibly rewarding: “even smaller teams [can] compete globally while retaining creative independence” (ITFS, 2025).
We’re proud that SYNK is helping animation teams work smarter, faster, and with greater creative freedom, and this award reinforces our belief that the future of animation lies in real-time, collaborative workflows.
